Psychological Assessment
Final Group Task (FGT)
What is Checked
The **Final Group Task (FGT)** is the final outdoor barrier. It evaluates group adjustment, quiet coordination, integrity, and confirmatory team alignment.
- Group Cohesion: Working silently as a single unit without shouting or dominance.
- Social Adjustment: Letting quiet or passive candidates take leading roles and supporting them.
- Physical Integrity: Compliance with out-of-bounds rules despite high physical exhaustion.
Methodology
- Single Obstacle: One moderate difficulty bridging barrier (equivalent to PGT Stage 2).
- Group Effort: The entire team of 8 candidates and the load box must cross.
- Time Limit: Strictly 10 to 15 minutes (900 seconds).
- Confirmatory Assessment: GTO verifies early character assessments and maps social integration.
Advice to Candidates
- Quiet Helper: Do not dominate. Keep commands low-key. Let others lead if you have been highly active in PGT.
- Integrity: If someone touches red ground, immediately self-report, step back, and reset the bridge.
- Liveliness: Show a positive attitude and smiling face to demonstrate mental and physical resilience.
