Psychological Assessment
Half Group Task (HGT)
What is Checked
The **Half Group Task (HGT)** splits the large team in half. It is designed to expose individual bridging logic, voice control, and cooperation in a quiet, uncrowded setting.
- Individual Inputs: GTO watches how active you are when not overshadowed by loud candidates.
- Structural Skill: Creating cantilevers using basic physics (fulcrum, locks).
- Team Cooperation: Assisting others silently, acting as a physical anchor.
Methodology
- Half Group: Splitting into 4-5 candidates.
- Obstacle Course: A single obstacle stage containing pegs, posts, gaps, and materials.
- Materials: 1 wooden plank, 1 bamboo pole, ropes, and a load box.
- Time Limit: 15 minutes (900 seconds).
Advice to Candidates
- Step Up: With only 4 members, passiveness is highly visible. Pick up materials and help.
- Act as Anchor: If you don't have the final bridging idea, stand on the plank to balance it. Physical labor is highly respected.
- Maintain Tone: Keep your voice down. In a small group, loud shouting is seen as aggressive and disruptive.
- Color Coding: White structures allow materials + candidates. Blue structures allow candidates' hands/feet only.
